8: Ocean Hotel & Conference
For something a little different to the usual city-centre hotels, we recommend the Ocean Hotel, near Kastrup metro station.
Originally a villa built in the 1860s, this boutique hotel is just five minutes by metro to the airport and 12 minutes into the city centre, giving you easy access to the things you'll want to see in the city, but with something a little different closer by.
The hotel overlooks the beautiful Kastrup Beachpark and has 3km of beach on its doorstep, perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. There are only 6 rooms - the family room can accommodate up to 5 guests - all with the usual modern amenities.
An organic breakfast is served daily. There are cafes and restaurants in nearby Amager Beachpark if you want to stay local for dinner, and the hotel is also very close to Den Blå Planet aquarium and Kastrup's old harbour.
